The Quiet Strength Of Believing

The Quiet Strength of Simply Believing

There was a time in my life when I felt the need to defend what I believed.

Not in anger…

but in a quiet effort to explain, to clarify, to be understood.

When someone questioned my faith, I would try to find the right words…

the right explanation…

the right way to help them see.

But over the years, something has gently changed.

Through many seasons of life, I’ve come to understand…

I don’t have to defend my beliefs.

I can simply believe.

Because hearts are not changed by my effort alone.

And not every conversation is meant to be won.

Some people are settled in what they think.

Some misunderstand.

Some are not ready to hear.

And that’s alright.

Faith has become quieter for me…

but also deeper.

More rooted.

More peaceful.

Less about proving… and more about living.

I’ve learned that I can trust God with what I cannot change.

And that there is a quiet strength in simply standing…

without striving.

🌿

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14

🌿

Today, I am grateful for that kind of peace.

A faith that no longer feels the need to explain…

but simply rests.
