🌿 A Quiet Moment on the Deck 🌙
I love sitting out on my deck on a cool evening, when the lights glow softly and the day begins to settle.
It’s a little time to reflect on the day, think about what needs doing tomorrow, and enjoy the breeze moving through the trees. In the distance, I can smell someone’s fire burning, perhaps with dinner cooking on the barbecue. There’s something so comforting about those familiar evening scents.
I sit, breathe, and feel myself relax. Tomorrow’s list can wait a little longer while I thank God for this peaceful moment and the home we’ve made.
Sometimes, the loveliest part of the day is right outside our own back door. 💛🏡
