🍋 Lemon Mint Sun Tea
Makes: 1 gallon
Ingredients
* 1 gallon cold filtered water
* 8 regular black tea bags (or 6 family-size tea bags)
* 1 large lemon, thinly sliced
* 8–10 fresh mint sprigs
* Ice for serving
* Optional: Honey to taste when serving
Directions
1. Fill a clean one-gallon glass jar with cold filtered water.
2. Add the tea bags.
3. Gently bruise the mint leaves with your fingers to release their natural oils, then add the mint and lemon slices to the jar.
4. Cover the jar with a lid and place it outside in full sunshine for about 2½ to 3 hours on a warm day.
5. Bring the tea indoors, remove the tea bags, lemon slices, and mint.
6. Refrigerate until well chilled.
7. Serve over ice with a fresh slice of lemon and a sprig of mint.

For the freshest flavor, pick the mint just before brewing. Spearmint gives the tea a gentle sweetness, while peppermint creates a cooler, more refreshing finish.
